The Maharashtra State Waqf Board has released the examination dates for various positions advertised earlier. The examination will be conducted in various sessions to accommodate the different positions available within the Waqf Board.

Admit cards for the examination will be dispatched to eligible candidates who have applied as per the prescribed guidelines. Recruitment process :
The recruitment process, outlined in the notification dated 10th October 2023, includes an online/written examination. Candidates will be evaluated based on their knowledge, aptitude, and reasoning skills. Successful candidates from the examination will then undergo a document verification process to confirm their eligibility and authenticity.

- District Waqf Officer: 25 positions
- Junior Clerk: 31 positions
- Stenographer: 01 position
- Junior Engineer: 01 position
- Legal Assistant: 02 positions

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 38 years old as of 1st July 2023. However, employees currently working in the Maharashtra State Wakf Board can apply, with a maximum age limit of 48 years.
- Religious Affiliation: Applicants must belong to the Muslim community.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the Urdu language, including reading, writing, and speaking skills, is mandatory.
Educational Qualifications:
- District Waqf Officer: A degree (at least Second Class Pass) in any discipline from a Statutory University.
- Junior Clerk: A degree (at least Second Class Pass) in any discipline from a Statutory University. Proficiency in Marathi typing (30 words per minute) or English typing (40 words per minute) is required.
- Stenographer: At least Secondary School Pass Certificate. Government Commercial Certificate in Marathi or English Shorthand with a speed not less than 100 words per minute and Government Commercial Certificate in Marathi Typing (30 words per minute) or English Typing (40 words per minute).
- Legal Assistant: A degree in Law from a Statutory University. Candidates should have at least three years of legal experience in High Court or Lower Court, or they should have worked as a Legal Assistant in the Law and Justice Department of the Government of Maharashtra.
