We Will Win Maharashtra Once Again : MVA Rally in Aurangabad

Political leaders of the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) have expressed their determination to win the upcoming elections by stating that the party's Vajramuth needs to be as impregnable as the Deogiri fort. The leaders made these remarks during the Vajramuth Sabha held on Sunday at the Marathwada Sanskrutik Mandal in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The event was attended by several party leaders, including former Chief Minister Ashokrao Chavan, former minister Balasaheb Thorat, NCP's Dhananjay Munde, and former MP Chandrakant Khaire, who delivered opening speeches. During the event, the leaders spoke about their determination to win the upcoming elections and to return to power in the state.

Uddhav Thackeray, criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) saying that if the BJP wants to show land, it should take an inch of land from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Thackeray challenged the BJP to ask for votes in Modi's name, saying he would ask for votes in his father's name to determine who the people of Maharashtra are behind. He also criticized the BJP for trying to take the judiciary into its own hands, saying that if the courts go down, democracy will go down as well. Thackeray called out the BJP for supporting corruption, which is an insult to the people of India, and said he would not accept the party's Hinduism.

The meeting also saw Thackeray and Pawar criticising Eknath Shinde, who had allegedly stolen the Shiv Sena party, symbol and even tried to steal Thackeray's father. Thackeray accused the BJP of creating riots whenever elections are near, while Pawar said that Shinde and BJP were clenching their teeth while Shivaji Maharaj was insulted. The two leaders also questioned why there was no steel from Vallabhbhai's statue in the artery, and criticized the BJP for harbouring opportunists instead of saints.

One of the leaders, Chavan, expressed his disappointment that the present state government did not take any resolution or arrange a program during the Amritmahotsav of Marathwada Mukti Sangram. He also warned that the party will not tolerate such injustice and urged the audience to remember the Panja (Hand), the watch, and the torch (Mashal).

The event saw a huge police bandobast on the ground and adjoining areas of Marathwada Sanskrutik Mandal, and party workers started gathering at the venue from 4 pm. Everyone was allowed to enter the ground only after a thorough check by the police, and occasional raising of slogans of the activists echoed on the ground.

At 5.20 pm, Shaheer and team started the Powada performance, and the crowd of activists increased after evening. A huge crowd of workers was present at the entrance at 6 pm, and Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly Ajit Pawar arrived at the assembly venue at the same time.

Such political rallies and speeches have become a common sight in recent times, especially in the run-up to elections. While these events may energize the party workers, they often have a negative impact on the city's harmony. The sloganeering and attacks on the opposition can create a tense environment, leading to clashes between different groups of supporters. It is essential for political parties to keep in mind the impact of their actions and speeches on the community at large and strive to maintain peace and harmony.
