Municipal Corporation takes action against encroachments in various areas of CIDCO




In a recent development, the Municipal Corporation Encroachment Removal Department has taken action against encroachments in various areas of CIDCO. As per the orders of the High Court, the encroachments were removed from various places in the city.


In the N-4 area of the city, the shutters of four shops, measuring 15 by 15, were removed and encroachments were cleared. The shops were in violation of social distancing norms and were located just four steps away from the area. Notices have also been given to other encroachers in the area. In addition, a total of 06 sheds were removed along the main road in the N-08 area, and three shops were cleared.


Later in the afternoon, the Municipal Corporation team also took action against encroachments in the N-10 area of the city. A 4-sheet shed of size 10 by 10 was removed near the police mess, and action was taken against four-wheeler vehicles on the road and the road divider. Additionally, scrapped vehicles on the road were seized.


During the action, the Municipal Corporation team removed three iron bars and seized one car. Furthermore, four cold drinks and soda carts and one Raswanti were removed from the main road. The officials of the Municipal Corporation have stated that similar activities will continue in the future.


This action against encroachments is a step towards ensuring a cleaner and safer environment in CIDCO. The Municipal Corporation Encroachment Removal Department has urged citizens to cooperate with them in their efforts to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the city.
