BAMU Will not take late fees, Students can apply for exams till 31st January

The students of Bamu and its affiliated colleges have demanded to cancel the late fee and the university has to decide in favour of students. Now UG and PG students will be able to submit examination forms to colleges till January 31 at Rs 10 per day.

In the current academic year (2021-22), the winter session examinations to be held in October-November will be online from February 8. January 20 was the last date to apply for the exam by paying a regular fee. However, due to the increasing number of patients of the corona, the colleges were closed as per the government order. So the students went to the village. On the other hand, due to corona, heavy rains, etc, the financial situation of many parents is bad. ST bus workers' strike is refusing to end. Sena's Sachin Nikam, Adv Atul Kamble, Panthers Republican Student Front Gunaratna Sonawane, Adv Buddhapal, Vikas Rode and ABVP's city in-charge Nagesh Galande, Sneha Parik, Rohit Chinchodkar, Chinmay Naik. A sit-in agitation was also organised in front of the university on behalf of ABVP.

Meanwhile, on January 24, the university announced an extension with an overdue fee to apply for the exam. This decision was unjust to the students.. Therefore, the student unions opposed this deci sion. After that, the univer sity finally revoked the decision of January 24 and issued a circular stating that examination forms can be submitted to the colleges on Thursday, January 27 with a late fee of Rs 10 per day till January 31. Thereafter, applications can be submitted to colleges with a late fee of Rs 1600 for undergraduates between February 1 to 2 and post graduate between February 1 to 5.
