A meeting of District Disaster Management Authority was held at district collector office on Thursday. Speaking in the meeting he said that there are thousands of citizens in the district, who are eligible for the second dose of corona vaccine, have not taken the second dose yet.
Teachers in schools, colleges and coaching classes will have take both doses of the vaccine. They will be required to undergo Covid test once a month and teachers who have not been vaccinated will be required to test the corona every week. Mobile van teams will be set up for vaccina tion. He clarified that this team will go door-to-door as per the demand and vacci nate the citizens.
Collector Chavan said that RT-PCR should be carried out every month for fully vaccinated people, every 15 days for those who have been vaccinated and every week for those who have not been vaccinated and directed the concerned department heads to take action against the officials involved in the vaccination campaign.
The meeting was attended by ZP president Meena Shelke, AMC administra- tor Astik Kumar Pandey, DCP Ujjwala Bankar, resi- dent deputy collector Shashikant Hadgal, deputy collector Prbhoday Mule, medical office Dr Paras Mandlecha, Dr Pradip Kulkarni and others.

Colleges should ensure that their professors, teach ers, teaching staff and all students are vaccinated. Students-teachers, who have not taken one dose of vaccine as well as students and teachers who are eligi ble for the second dose but have not taken the second dose, should not be given entry in colleges. Orders in this regard have been issued by the collector.
Take admission form if vaccinated
All college students should make sure that they have been vaccinated against the corona before applying for any exam, scholarship or admission. A large number of corona related checking should be performed in all colleges. Police escorts should be provided at all places where inspection camps have been organised in the form of expeditions. Such orders were given in the meeting.
