A 23-year-old man, Nitin Ashok Patange, from Ranjangaon, has been booked by the Waluj MIDC police for raping his friend’s wife multiple times and threatening her with the video clips.
The victim, a 30-year-old woman lives with her husband and two children. She met her husband’s friend, Patange at the Nursery Colony, where they initially resided. Last year on the 8th of April, the accused visited her house at around 9 p.m and fed her with sweets containing sedatives, that put her unconscious. He raped her and shot a video of the same. Taking advantage of this video and threatening to defame her, he raped her multiple times.
On the 20th of November, he did it again, at her place! Sick and tired of the torture, she complained to her husband and he convinced her to file a complaint at the Waluj MIDC Police Station, under PI Sandeep Gurme. PSI Rajendra Bangar is doing further investigations.
