Man Killed Over a Dispute For a ₹10 Fare

On Tuesday evening, at around 7 pm, a passenger paid ₹10 as the usual fare, but the rickshaw puller demanded ₹20; this incident turned out to be fierce and eventually lead to the death of the passenger by a punch by the rickshaw puller.

The deceased is identified to be Mirza Muzaffar Hussain Mirza, aged 52 from the Saida Colony, Jatwada road. He boarded the rickshaw from the Mill corner towards the Kamakshi chowk (MH 20 EF 0012). At about 6:30, he reached his destination and paid the usual fare but Salem Bin (rickshaw puller) asked him for an extra ₹10, stating the petrol price being increased, which took it to an argument, leading to Salem Bin punching Muzaffar in the nose.
