District Collector, Commissioner of Police, and Municipal Administrator on Sunday issued orders to impose night restrictions from 9 pm to 6 am in the district from Sunday night. As per orders, there will be strict restrictions on Social events and gathering. The officers warned of strict action against violating the rules.
Norms by Administration :
📍More than 5 people can not gather from 9 pm to 6 am
📍Weddings as usual with covid protocols.📍Only 100 are allowed in indoor weddings.
📍Hotels and shops with 50% capacity.
📍50% of capacity in cinema, restaurants, and gym.
📍Only 100 allowed in indoor social gatherings
📍25% of capacity allowed in outdoor social gatherings
📍25% of seating capacity in sports competition
📍Sanitization of public places must.
Earlier, State government has imposed Night and other restrictions in the wake of Omicron variant, today after reviving orders, District Admins issued fresh orders.
The daily day market will be running as usual adhering to Covid protocols. There is no restrictions specified regarding Historical places and museum, so these places will be open as usual.
There is huge confusion among the citizen that the fresh orders are Curfew or Section 144. Meanwhile the govt just have imposed the section 144 only in night times, where more than five peoples are not allowed to gather and there will be harsh actions will be taken if one or a group found to be voilating Covid norms.
