Schools in rural areas has been Restarted after relaxation in lockdown but decision about city school was delayed. Now, The decision will be taken after December 15. Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Santosh Tengle clarified on Friday that the decision has been postponed till December 15.
The decision to start schools in the city will be taken after the 10th, the corporation administration had clarified. Therefore, students, parents and teachers are also curious about the decision of the corporation administration regarding starting school today.
The state government had directed to start closed classes from 1st to 7th in urban areas and 1st to 5th in rural areas. However, the decision to start the school was left to the local administration. Currently, the first class in rural areas is running smoothly. In urban areas, classes VIII to XII are being filled with fifty percent capacity. So far no student has been diagnosed with corona infection. School closures are causing huge educational losses to students. Due to the closure of schools, child marriage, child labor and out-of-school children have increased.
Education expert said that, The number of patients in the city has come down drastically in the last one and a half months. Therefore, it would be appropriate to take a step forward to start a school.
