A large number of officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation have retired. Also, the state government has approved the diagram and service recruitment rules. However, this recruitment can be done only after the municipal elections. At present, the administration is busy with Corona and municipal elections. AMC Admin Astik Kumar clarified today, while talking about recruitment.
Discussions on recruitment of employees in the corporation have been going on for the last few years. However, there were difficulties in recruitment as the diagram and service recruitment rules were not finalized. Both these issues have paved the way for recruitment. But it has been decided that the recruitment will take place after the municipal elections.
The state government approved the scheme on 15th February, 2021. 953 posts were added in it. After that on 27th August 2021 the service recruitment rules were approved. But in the meantime lockdown was imposed due to corona infection.
Therefore, the recruitment process can start after the corona infection is reduced, said the administrator Pandey had clarified. Meanwhile, the second wave of corona infection was expected to start the servant process. But the recruitment will take place after the municipal elections, Pandey has clarified.
