The district collector permitted to reopen the petrol pump on the condition that the people will co-ordinate with the system and follow the Covid norms. He also made an appeal to the public to get vaccinated at the earliest. Baba Petrol Pump is now open to operate and shall supply petrol only after verifying the vaccination certificates of the citizens.
Rajendra Shinde unsealed the pump on the orders of the District Collector, Sunil Chavan. The pump owner assured that all Covid and administration norms shall be strictly followed henceforth, while they continue to supply petrol in the city.
On Sunday, the district collector Sunil Chavan sealed the Baba Petrol Pump. Meanwhile, pump operators expressed their disappointment against the action, but many fuel stations started following covid norms.
