One of the two inmates of Hersul Jail who escaped from NMC's Kovid Center during treatment was arrested at Dilligate area on Wednesday afternoon. As informed by police the name of prisoner is Syed Saif Syed Asad (resident of Nehru Nagar). After the incidence of escaping of two prisoners from care center The crime branch and Begumpura police were searching for him.

On Wednesday afternoon, a constable of the Citychowk Police Station's Crime Investigation Squad on patrol, saw Saif walking in the Dilligate area and they recognise saif. constable Morey asked the accused to sit on a chair near the closed tapri. Saif also sat on the chair without any resistance. After this, police inspector Sambhaji Pawar, police personnel Abhijit Deshmukh and Majed arrived there. The incident was reported to the prison administration. An ambulance was called.
