For last 6 days, there has been loss of about Rs 50 lakh due to the closure of fruit and vegetable markets. trade representatives said that confusion was created as administration was issuing orders without considering the trade unions.
Sudden orders, Retailer's loot
The administration issueing order late night and suddenly stops the sale from the next day. Thus sellers have to suffer loss of lakhs of rupees.
Also, the retailers who had surplus fruits sold them at double the price and looted the customers.
