👉Lockdown 5.0 : About containment zones
Lockdown in such zones continues till June 30. What becomes a containment zone will be decided by the district administration. These zones will see only essential activities. There will be strict contact tracing, surveillance in these zones. States will take a call on details of restrictions in their respective zones.
👉India will be reopened in a phased manner from June 8 in phase wise manner.
Phase 1:
The following activities will be allowed from June 8:
⏺️Religious places
⏺️Hotels and restaurants
⏺️Shopping malls
⏺️No restriction on inter-state movement of ⏺️persons and goods
Phase 2:
⏺️Schools, colleges and educational institutes will be opened after consultations with states and union territories. Based on the feedback, decision will be taken in the month of July.
Phase 3:
⏺️Dates for restarting the following will be decided after assessing the situation:
International air travel except permitted by MHA.
Metro Rail.
⏺️Cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars and auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places.
Social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, religious functions and other large congregations.
